Manufacturer refurbished: The item has been professionally restored to working order by a manufacturer-approved vendor.

This means the product has been inspected and cleaned to meet manufacturer specifications and is in excellent near new condition. Some units will have minor cosmetic scratches on the casing, but they do not inhibit the functionality of the unit.
