Philips Cdr 760 Cd Player Recorder Gwo Vgc Remote
PHILIPS CDR 760 CD PLAYER RECORDER PHILIPS CDR 760 CD player/ recorder in very good condition: fascia virtually unmarked, minor marks to case work on top from stacking. In full working order including displays. Supplied with original Philips remote. Full manual available as .pdf file free from: http://download.p4c.philips.com/files/c/cdr760_05/cdr760_05_dfu_eng.pdf This is a very effective machine. As well as producing faultless copies of CDs by copying from external digital sources such as CD, minidisc, DAT, DCC, digital radio/ TV decoder etc., you can also make CDs from analogue sources such as mixer, cassette, turntable, VCR or analogue tuner. Please note this machine uses CD-R Audio or CD-RW Audio discs, not standard computer CD-R/ CD-RW discs. Recording is dead simple and intuitive. Select digital or analogue source, press record, start the source, just like using a tape deck. The display prompts you at each stage. Just press pause to change source and stop to finish the session, when the disc is complete you finalise to make it formatted for any CD player (this takes 2 minutes). You can de-finalise, erase and rewrite CD-RW discs. It's also worth pointing out that replay of CDs either recorded on the machine or ordinary commercial CDs is really good: Muscular, detailed, musical presentation, good layering of complex music, good channel separation. If you have an integrated amplifier you simply use the analogue tape loop IN/OUT scocketry and connect accordingly to the CD analogue in/outputs. If you are working with line level sources you can however skip the amplifier and put them straight into the machine's analogue inputs. The CD's output then goes to the amplifier, or you can just use headphones. Makes excellent copies of vinyl, especially if you have a quality turntable- much better than aN all in one unit. If you use the onboard phono amp your amplifier, simply connect the CDR to the amp's tape loop. If you use a turntable with a separate phono preamplifier, the output from the phono amp can go straight into the Philips, or via your amplifier's line level inputs. Digital sources can be connected via digital IN coaxial or optical socketry and there is a coaxial digital connection for output.
