Denon Dra-101 Amplifier / Receiver & Denon Dcd-101 Cd Player Mini Hifi Seperates This is an auction for a used Denon DRA-101 and DCD-101 mini HiFi seperates system with remote control.Denon are well known for producing high quality audio equipment and this mini system is no exception. I have owned this system for about 4 years and have really enjoyed it.It has seen relatively light usage as it has spent a good portion of its time in my dining room, being used maybe once or twice a month.Whilst it is in good condition, there is a slight fault with the volume control on the amplifier; when turning the knob it doesn't always register volume adjustment correctly - i put this down to some dust or other issue with the actual knob. Changing the volume via the remote works perfectly. Please note: There are no speakers included in this auction; for an excellent pair of suitable speakers please see my other auction for the Mission M31's.Details below:Receiver Features Internal Components: The DRA-F101 receiver contains internal components that can be found in Denon's high-end receivers for superior sound quality. The unit has discrete configuration for clear stereo separation, a large transformer for robust, yet stable power, a high-capacity heat sink, and parts strictly selected for their contribution to sound quality. AM/FM Tuner: This system's AM/FM tuner allows you store up to 40 AM or FM station presets so that you always have easy access to your favorite stations without having to tune them manually each time. Timer Section: The DRA-F101 has a built-in clock with three separate timer functions: Everyday: The Everyday timer can be set to turn the power on and off at the same time every day.Once: The Once timer allows you to turn the power on and off one time.Sleep: The Sleep timer can be set to turn the power off after 10 to 60 minutes, in steps of 10 minutes.Tone Controls: The unit has +/-8dB bass and treble adjustments (in increments of 2dB) at 100Hz and 10kHz. The Loudness circuitry provides a +8dB boost at 100Hz and a +6dB boost at 10kHz, and helps to achieve a fuller sound when listening to music at low volume levels. It should be deactivated when listening at higher levels. Source Direct Function: The Source Direct mode, when selected, bypasses the tone controls and turns off the loudness for the purest sound quality and flat frequency response from the connected source. Display Dimmer: You can change the brightness of the display from the remote control to one of three brightness settings, or turn the display off. System Remote Control: The system is controlled by the supplied RC-927 wireless remote control. In addition to controlling the DRA-F101 receiver, the remote has CD and Tape controls for connected Denon components. The system control cords supplied with the CD player and other connected components should be plugged into the receiver's System Connection jacks. Dimensions: L=8.277", W=1.893", H=1.128". DRA-F101 Receiver Dimensions: Width=9.858"Height=3.191"Depth=11.5"Weight=7 pounds 11 ouncesCD Features D/A Converters: The DCD-F101 CD player is equipped with enhanced multi-level noise-shaping Delta Sigma digital-to-analog converters with superior resolution to give you an accurate reproduction of the original recording. System Functions: When the DCD-F101 CD player is connected to the DRA-F101 receiver with both audio and system control cords, the CD player can be controlled with the RC-927 remote. If a disc is loaded in the CD player, the receiver will automatically power on and switch to the CD input when "Play" is pressed on the CD player. Additionally, if a disc is playing when the source input is switched on the receiver, the CD player will stop play. DCD-F101 CD Player Dimensions: Width=9.844"Height=3.233"Depth=11.875"Weight=5 pounds 12 ouncesInputs and Outputs NotesDRA-F101 Receiver: Headphone Jack: There is a 3.5mm stereo mini headphone jack on the front of this unit. (This should not be used to connect a line-level component.)Mono Output: The unit has a mono RCA output for connecting a powered subwoofer.System Connections: There are two 3.5mm system control mini jacks for daisy chaining other Denon components to the receiver.Switched AC Outlet: For convenience, you can plug the power cord from the CD player or other connected unit into the receiver's switched AC outlet.
