It is well known that the brass links that bridge the bi-wire terminals will reduce the sound quality of your speakers.  This is because brass is a very poor conductive material, even if they are gold or silver plated.  Replacing these bridges with a high quality single strand copper conductor with give optimum performance.  Cables with multiple strands such as standard speaker cables tend to give poor results when used as short length jumper cables.

Here we have a high quality 1.2mm enamel coated copper cable which is a perfect solution.  The enamel coating protects the cable and prevents oxidising but has minimum impact on the sound, simply allowing the signal to pass through the copper cable.

With this cable you can expect much better synergy between the speaker drivers because the signal between the terminals is not hindered by the jumper cables.  The speakers will sound more energetic and the music will sound more natural and relaxing.

I supply this cable in two lengths of 1 foot un-terminated (1ft of red / 1 ft gold).  Cutting to an appropriate length and removing the enamel coating is fairly easy.

I strongly recommend using un-terminated cables for bi-wire jumpers simply because they sound better.  You can get jumper terminals for many cable manufacturers, they are all terminated and look more professional - however if sound quality is your priority then removing all the banana or spade plugs and connecting cables directly to the speaker terminals will give you the best sound quality (and therefore I do not recommend terminating these cables).
