Rare opportunity to acquire this legendary 1970s receiver in excellent cosmetic and working order. 18kgs of long-lasting hi-fidelity!There's a good deal of information online in forums and specialist sites about this receiver - The Vintage Knob is an ideal place to start. I have owned this one for 5 years without significant fault - the only things to note are that the display bulbs need replacing, the treble knob slips (but can still be adjusted with just a little care), and that I have never used the phono input (so I can't vouch 100% for that). Sound is smooth, rich and powerful , as you would expect. I have thoroughly enjoyed owning this beast - phenomenal for Radio 3 on the end of a half-decent roof aerial (which I, sadly, can no longer operate). I have kept unit dusted regularly and contacts annually cleaned with de-oxit. The only modification I have made is to fit a female IEC plug to the captive mains cord, which allowed me to use a Kimber mains cable (not included). Original manual included.UK delivery is by tracked and insured courier service. I'm happy to ship worldwide, but bear in mind that this piece is very heavy - 18kg before packing, so please contact me first for a quote.Currently set for UK 220V but this can easily be switched to 100V, 117V or 240V by removing cover and using selector switch (instructions on page 4 of manual)Always happy to answer questions or supply more photos - just get in touch, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
