As well as being an excellent home cinema receiver the SC-LX73 is also a networking media hub. A direct digital iPod connection can be made to the front panel USB socket- no dock required. Plus, the LX73 will play music and photo files from USB memory sticks, portable MP3 players and networked devices such as compatible computers or network attached storage systems. Play the music stored on the computer in your bedroom on the speakers in the living room or browse your photo collection from the comfort of your sofa. Plus, if you have a broadband Internet connection, you can use the SC-LX73 to receive Internet radio stations. The SC-LX73 comes with an AS-BT100 Bluetooth adaptor for streaming media from devices such as mobile phones. For added functionality you can upgrade to the CURF100 radio frequency remote control, which doesn't require line of sight to work and can receive status updates from the LX73 and display them on its screen.
